Neuro Wellness Spa is seeking a highly organized, friendly, and compassionate TMS Technician for a full-time position. Previous experience with patient care is required.

We offer TMS and psychopharmacology services across California, including Manhattan Beach, Torrance, Long Beach, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Westlake Village, Encino, Marina Del Rey, Lake Forest, North Orange County, Brea, and Pasadena.

What is TMS?

TMS is a non-invasive treatment for depression that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate specific brain areas. It is covered by most insurance and has no drug-related side effects. Treatment involves reclining in a private room, relaxing, reading, working, or watching TV during sessions lasting about 20 minutes.

TMS Technician Responsibilities

• Administer TMS treatments according to specific physician protocols.
• Set up the TMS device and monitor all aspects of the treatment sessions for patient comfort and treatment accuracy.
• Provide excellent patient care and develop trust and rapport with patients.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with patient comfort, coil contact, and TMS system setup throughout treatment.
• Administer psychiatric rating scales and counsel patients on completion of scales.
• Record session notes, track insurance authorizations, and schedule patient visits using EMR and medical scheduling software.
• Communicate with certified TMS psychiatrists overseeing treatment at multiple locations.
• Deliver superior customer service to all potential patients.
• Strong customer service skills and exceptional phone presence are essential.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel, strong computer and data entry skills required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail and complete tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• 2+ years of experience in customer service or clinical care preferred
• Experience working with patients suffering from anxiety and depression preferred
