TMBC Rigger - Full Time

About the role

The Rigger uses mechanical and power tools to install and connect motors and accessories on boats or ATVs according to factory specifications or work orders.

Responsibilities

• Rig boat packages per factory specifications or work orders.
• Notify Service Manager of any rigging issues, additional work needed, or safety concerns with units or customer requests.
• Maintain efficient workflow to meet service schedules.
• Prepare loose motors or trailers for customer delivery.
• Test each unit for proper and safe operation using established marine service procedures.
• Follow work order procedures for parts, labor, and paperwork; handle unlisted tasks as needed.
• Compile warranty packages for every unit per outlined process.
• Complete rigging checklists and assist with inspection processes.
• Install optional equipment or accessories as requested by customers.
• Maintain a clean and professional work area.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work with electrical systems and wiring for engine assembly and connections.
• Strong communication skills for professional interactions with customers and associates.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a non-air-conditioned environment.

Pay

Starting pay rate: $21.00 - $24.71 per hour.
