Responsibilities

  • Gain hands-on experience in various aspects of drug discovery and development at Novartis Biomedical Research in Cambridge, MA.
  • Collaborate with leading experts on clinical teams based on areas of expertise.
  • Contribute to high-impact research projects that align with the strategic priorities of the Translational Medicine Discovery and Profiling (TMDP) department.
  • Be trained and onboarded by experts and gain hands-on experience by contributing to and supporting a range of activities essential to key areas including: Supporting protocol development, Data analysis, Scientific literature review, Preparation and presentation of research findings, and Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to drive project success.

Requirements

  • An MD or MD/PhD in a relevant scientific discipline with advanced clinical specialty training (e.g. cardiovascular and/or metabolism or adjacent specialties).
  • Gained 5-10 years of clinical care and basic and/or clinical research experience in academia, and now hold a faculty position.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • A commitment to improving patient outcomes through innovative research.

Qualifications
