About the role

This is a unique opportunity to be an integral member of a team inventing new technologies in the health AI space to solve significant customer problems in health and wellness. Our emerging Health Tech organization within Amazon Devices & Services is looking for passionate, hard-working, and talented individuals to join our entrepreneurial, start-up environment to help invent the future.

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to own defining technical roadmaps, making high judgment technology and product tradeoffs, and delivering bar-raising customer experiences. Your work will directly influence how our AI solutions are delivered to users, transforming how individuals manage their daily health and long-term wellness goals.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with science and engineering teams to define near-term and long-term product roadmap
  • Make tradeoffs while balancing business needs with technical constraints
  • Transform high-level business strategies into clear, actionable technical roadmaps that inspire and align multiple organizations
  • Create clarity, eliminate obstacles, and drive issue resolution to ensure deliverables and timelines are met
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to ensure delivery mechanisms get better over time
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks before they impact deliverables through strategic planning and proactive problem-solving
  • Serve as trusted advisor to leadership, science, and engineering teams

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $148,700.00 - $201,200.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
