TL Production - Cheraw 1 - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop assigned employees to ensure manufacture of components, products, and systems within agreed quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) standards.
• Direct production activities to meet all requirements and achieve agreed KPIs.
• Determine manufacturing priorities to align with weekly production schedules and assign tasks accordingly.
• Oversee personnel actions, including selection, training, performance appraisal, and safety procedures.
• Direct routine equipment set-up and maintenance, ensuring tasks are completed.
• Establish and refine procedures to contribute to improvements in QCD.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; prefer a 2-year technical degree or equivalent on-the-job experience with Schaeffler.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
• Experience as a multi-skilled operator in the area of responsibility.
• Good knowledge of production processes, measurement and inspection procedures, production planning and control, MS-Office, and SAP.
• Ability to collaborate, persuade, and work effectively with others.
• Familiarity with computer programs and strong communication skills, including conflict resolution.
