Title Senior JDE CNC Consultant
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver senior-level CNC administration, including installation, upgrades, tools releases, ESU deployments, and environment configuration.
- Diagnose and resolve critical technical issues across JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, web and application servers, batch servers, and supporting infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance, conduct tuning activities, and implement automation for operational efficiency.
- Perform SQL scripting, database troubleshooting, and collaborate with DBAs to ensure data integrity and optimal performance.
- Support system integrations, security administration, provisioning, object management, and change control processes.
- Participate in incident management, problem management, and proactive maintenance for managed services clients.
- Prepare technical documentation, operational runbooks, and environment diagrams to support ongoing service delivery.
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support coverage as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Skills:
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne CNC administration.
- Strong expertise with:
- EnterpriseOne installation, deployment, and upgrade processes
- WebLogic, WebSphere, or equivalent J2EE application servers
- SQL scripting and relational database platforms (Oracle preferred)
- Server administration in Windows and/or Linux environments
- Network fundamentals, load balancing concepts, and troubleshooting
- Experience supporting cloud-hosted or on-premise JD Edwards environments.
- Understanding of high-availability, disaster recovery, and environment lifecycle management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure situations.
- Clear, professional communication suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global team.
- Demonstrated accountability, ownership, and customer-focused service mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- JD Edwards EnterpriseOne CNC 9.2 certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
- Experience with automation tooling (scripting, orchestration, monitoring frameworks).
- Familiarity with OCI, AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
- Exposure to Oracle DBA concepts, backup/recovery workflows, and performance tuning.
- Prior consulting or managed services experience supporting multiple clients concurrently.
