Title of Opportunity: Nursery Childcare Provider

About the role

We are seeking a warm, engaging childcare person to support Religious Exploration on Sunday mornings, along with occasional additional events. The teacher, along with an assistant, cares for the youngest children, newborn to age three. The childcare program engages children in creative activities, songs, stories, and safe play.

Responsibilities

• Needs Would Be 9-10:30, care for children aged 0 - 8 whose parents are occupied with worship preparation or classes prior to the service.
• 10:30-11:45, care for children aged through 3, during the worship service.
• 11:45-1:30, chat with parents, organize the classroom, and debrief with the teaching staff.

Requirements

• Hours are 9:30-1:30 on Sunday with one hour prep during the week, which includes scheduling assistants, recording attendance, planning supplies, and checking in with new parents or families you haven’t heard from in a while.
• The rate is $125/week.
• This job spans the school year, September – June, and the teacher could begin this June (with a break in July and August).
