Position Description/Qualifications

  • Tutor (Title/Intervention Services): AA college degree/2 years of college (minimum of 60 college credits) or successful Para Pro test or Para Educator Assessment required.
  • Tutor (Title/Intervention Services): Training or experience working with children in a group tutorial and supervisory setting.
  • Tutor (Title/Intervention Services): Interpersonal skills that lend themselves to a compatible working relationship with students and other adults in the workplace as determined by the principal.
  • Tutor (Title/Intervention Services): Ability to assist students in learning basic elementary school curriculum.
  • Tutor (Title/Intervention Services): Maintain the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality as is expected of fully licensed teachers.
