Title I | Temporary | Non-Public Tutor

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Indiana teaching license for appropriate level and a minimum of three years teaching experience.
• Must be able to transport self to various locations within the greater Fort Wayne area.

Essential Functions

• Complete a student selection for Title I Non-Public students under the guidance of the Local Education Authority (LEA) using criteria outlined in the rules and regulations covering Title I.
• Collaborate with teachers of Title I Non-public students to align instruction with Language Arts and/or Math curriculum.
• Tutor Title I Non-public students in the area of Language Arts and/or Math individually or in small groups in an area outside of the classroom setting; monitor student progress.
• Engage parents of Title I Non-public students in the Title I program.
• Regularly consult with LEA regarding Title I services for the Non-public site(s).
