About the role
The STAR program is designed to provide additional support to students in grades K through 2, focusing on social and emotional learning.
Responsibilities
- Support students in developing social and emotional skills
- Collaborate with teachers to implement classroom strategies
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress
- Assist in maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Valid Colorado teaching license or ability to obtain one within six months
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Pass a background check
- Pass a drug screening
