Title I Program Support (Part-time)
About the role
This position supports the effective implementation and ongoing monitoring of the Title I schoolwide plan. The role involves guiding school staff in understanding and meeting statutory requirements, providing support for evidence-based school reform strategies, reviewing student performance data, and ensuring continuous improvement through monitoring and evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Support the Academic Success and Family Engagement Coach in developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the Title I schoolwide plan goals and action steps.
- Provide support for Academic Success and Family Engagement Coach in using evidence-based school reform strategies that focus on school improvement.
- Review analysis of student performance data to identify areas of need.
- Support the system for ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the schoolwide plan to ensure continuous improvement.
- In collaboration with the Academic Success and Family Engagement Coach, ensure effective support for at-risk students, aligning with educational standards and compliance.
- Provide data supports to schools for progress monitoring.
- In collaboration with Academic Facilitator or Academic Success and Family Engagement Coach, review remedial progress reports.
- Aid in the district development of the Title I Schoolwide plan and progress monitoring templates.
- Support the alignment of resources in instruction and professional learning to support school goals.
- Participate in training programs to increase skills and proficiency related to assignments to support Title I activities.
- Compile, maintain, and submit all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide and/or submit state and local reports, as scheduled and requested.
Requirements
Master’s degree or higher in education or related field. Leadership experience at the school or district level in Title I preferred. Strong knowledge of K-12 curriculum; ability to communicate effectively; strong organizational skills; considerable understanding of federal programs.
Qualifications
Possess and maintain valid and appropriate license, certificate, and/or credential as may be required for this position. Follow work scheduling and attendance requirements in a regular, predictable, and punctual manner. Review current developments, literature, and technical source information related to job responsibilities. Follow Federal/State/District guidance as it relates to Title I. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
