9-month position, 6 hours per day – bilingual (Spanish/English) required.

About the Role

This para-professional position is located at Desert Rose High School in North Las Vegas, supporting the Exceptional Student Services Department (ESD).

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers in providing instructional support to students with disabilities.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and provide one-on-one or small-group support as directed.
• Assist with personal care needs, mobility, and other health-related tasks for students as required.
• Support students in accessing curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents in both English and Spanish.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all district policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must complete the entire three (3) year work history in the "Experience and Credentials" section of the application, including periods of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work.
