Title Examiner - Texas

About the role

Research ownership history of various parcels of land by reviewing public records and other sources to ensure appropriate title packages are set up according to abstracts and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage a high-volume queue of orders for residential and/or commercial loans
• Consult with abstractors, other examiners, underwriters and the Title Clearance team to provide a clear, marketable title
• Meet minimum production goal numbers and quality metrics consistently

Requirements

• 2+ years of title examination, title clearance, and/or title abstracting experience
• Obtain and maintain Texas title license
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively, including differentiating between multiple clients and loan types
