Title Examiner

Bankers Title Agency of Nebraska is seeking a Title Examiner to join our Omaha in-office team. In this role, you'll help ensure real estate transactions are built on a solid foundation by delivering accurate, timely, and dependable title services.

Responsibilities

• Review title searches and underwrite title commitments, policies, and endorsements in accordance with company guidelines.
• Provide professional support to clients, lenders, attorneys, and internal team members.
• Respond to questions regarding file status, title insurance products, and rate information.
• Open, track, and manage title orders throughout the production process.
• Coordinate closings and communicate with all parties to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing.
• Maintain vendor, lender, and file records to support efficient workflow management.
• Monitor turnaround times and maintain organized title records and back-title files.
• Meet established production, quality, and service standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Title Examination/Underwriting.
• Understanding of real estate transactions, title searches, and title insurance processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to review and interpret legal and property-related documents.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
