About the role

We are looking for a Title Clerk II to join our team and take ownership of crucial vehicle title processes. This role is key to ensuring the secure and efficient delivery of vehicle titles to company dealerships and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process both physical and electronic vehicle title documents, including applications, transfers, and lien releases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Verify the authenticity of title documents, resolve discrepancies, and ensure smooth title transfers and registrations.
• Provide outstanding support to customers, dealerships, and internal staff on title-related questions and issues, solving problems as they arise.
• Stay up-to-date with state and federal title regulations to maintain compliance and keep accurate records of all processed titles.
• Collaborate with various departments such as finance and sales, as well as external agencies like the DMV, to facilitate title processing.
• Operate title processing software and troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring systems run smoothly.
• Generate and analyze reports on title processing metrics, offering insights for process improvements.
• Maintain a valid notary license and ensure adherence to all legal requirements.

Requirements

• A valid notary license
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle title regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle discrepancies in paperwork
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency with title processing software and related office technology
• Experience in a similar role or knowledge of vehicle title processes is a plus
