What You'll Do
- Underwrite, prepare, and distribute title commitments based on title opinions provided by approved attorneys.
- Underwrite, prepare, and distribute final title policies and endorsements.
- Review files for accuracy and resolve title-related issues when they arise.
- Aid customers, attorneys, lenders, and internal partners with title inquiries, premium quotes, prior policies, endorsements, and policy revisions.
- Conduct title database searches and research as needed.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and office communications.
- Support branch operations, including commercial transactions, claims inquiries, escrow-related matters, software testing, and special projects.
- Provide administrative support to the Branch Manager and Office Manager as needed.
- Collaborate with other Old Republic Title offices throughout North Carolina to provide operational support when necessary.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in title insurance, title production, escrow, closing, or real estate transactions preferred.
- Experience with Qualia, SoftPro, RamQuest, or similar title production software is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional, customer-focused approach and strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
