About the role
Ignite Education Solutions is seeking a Title 1 Teacher for a non-public school district. The schedule is flexible and based on district needs; candidates are encouraged to apply to discuss potential schedules.
Responsibilities
- Manage classroom activities and maintain regular contact with students’ classroom teachers, incorporating their input to select appropriate learning activities.
- Communicate openly with homeroom teachers, parents, and Ignite Education Solutions staff.
- Provide Title I services exclusively through pull-out instruction to students with signed permission slips.
- Refer to academic standards for the assigned subject and student level when preparing lessons.
- Use supplemental materials tailored to each child’s ability.
- Access and review students’ IEPs (or non-public equivalent) if required by the cooperating school district.
- Allocate up to 15 minutes of prep time for every full hour of instructional time (non-instructional time beyond this is not billable).
- Address scheduling concerns with your Ignite supervisor.
- Deliver services via Zoom when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood or elementary education from an accredited college or university.
- Certification in Elementary Education or Special Education.
- Willingness to complete and pass required clearances and training, including four clearances, mandated reporter training, a physical, and a TB test (typically completed within a week).
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and stop for extended periods throughout an eight-hour day.

Pay
Pay range starts at $25 per hour.
