The Learning Lamp and its Ignite Education Solutions division provide school-focused services that lift administrative burdens from districts so educators can concentrate on helping children reach their full potential. This role supports non-public school students through Title I services.
About the role
Part-time Title I Teacher position in a non-public school setting. Schedule is flexible and aligned with district calendars; when school is off, you’re off.
Responsibilities
- Manage a pull-out classroom for Title I services, serving only students with signed permission slips.
- Maintain regular communication with homeroom teachers, parents, and Ignite Education Solutions staff.
- Refer to academic standards and supplemental materials tailored to each child’s ability level.
- Review students’ IEPs (or non-public equivalent) when requested by the cooperating district.
- Allocate up to 15 minutes of prep time for every full hour of direct instruction; non-instructional time beyond this is not billable.
- Deliver services in-person or via Zoom as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood or elementary education from an accredited institution.
- Current certification in Elementary Education or Special Education.
- Willingness to complete and pass all required clearances and training (four clearances, mandated reporter training, physical, TB test) within approximately one week.
- Physical capacity for prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stooping throughout an eight-hour day.
Pay
Starting pay is $25 per hour.
