Primary Function

Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform weld preparation tasks including cleaning, marking, and positioning parts.
• Execute welding operations using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Complete weld finishing procedures to ensure quality and meet specifications.

Minimum Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Welding certification preferred.

Desired Competencies

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols.

Normal Working Conditions

Normal working conditions include exposure to welding fumes, noise, and physical labor. The position may require occasional lifting and standing for extended periods.
