Responsibilities

• Achieve sales expectations in the assigned territory through consultative sales and strong customer relationships.
• Conduct sales-producing calls utilizing solid product and disease state technical knowledge.
• Develop and follow a territory business plan.
• Report sales-related activities to upper management through a call reporting system.
• Sell products to physicians and support staff in clinics and hospitals, including supporting surgical cases where appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal controls activities.
• Travel up to 50% of the time, depending on circumstances.

Requirements

• BS/BA or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of successful experience in medical sales, preferably in a consultative role.
• Proven, verifiable, and documented record of sales success.
• Ability to work autonomously and independently with strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Demands

• Standing for extended periods of time.
• Travel by car for extended periods.
• Work in clinical and/or sterile environments.
• Frequent use of wrists and hands.

Environmental Conditions

• Regularly work in clinical settings.
• Occasionally work in cold temperatures.

Pay

The anticipated annualized base salary for this role is $90,000 - $115,000, reflecting current market data for similarly-sized life science companies and internal equity. Base salary is part of a total rewards package, which also includes merit-based increases, eligibility for our 401(k) plan with a competitive company match, and additional compensation of $105,000 at target under our sales incentive compensation plan.
