Tire & Wheel Alignment / Automotive Technician

RNR Tire Express is seeking a full-time Tire & Wheel Alignment Technician / Automotive Technician to mount, balance, and install tires and wheels, as well as assist with inventory and keep our tire shop running smoothly.

A Day in the Life

As a Tire & Wheel Alignment Technician / Automotive Technician, you are essential to the success of our tire shop. With precision, you utilize tire and balancing machines to mount, balance, and align tires and wheels. Customers depend on you to keep their vehicles rolling smoothly. You also help oversee activity within the shop by:

• Ensuring shop safety guidelines are followed
• Completing necessary paperwork
• Maintaining inventory, product, tools, and equipment
• Properly labeling and organizing merchandise as it arrives

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving history
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Physical ability to perform typical tasks associated with this position
• Prior experience as a tire technician, wheel specialist, automotive technician, or wheel alignment technician is helpful
• Experience mounting, balancing, and installing tires and wheels is preferred but not required

Pay

Tire & Wheel Alignment Technicians / Automotive Technicians average $16.00 to $23.00 an hour, including bonuses. We do not use a flat-rate pay system.
