Tire Technician - Fargo/Moorhead

About the role

This position involves traveling throughout the Fairchild Northern Market to service Fairchild customers by dismounting and mounting tires on various types of equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts. The Tire Technician will operate a company-owned/leased vehicle to complete their duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Listens to customer needs and schedules work accordingly.
• Operates a mobile tire truck while adhering to DOT rules and regulations.
• Removes, rolls, and positions tires on the press.
• Adjusts, sets up, and operates the tire press to press tires and hubs together.
• Dismounts and mounts tires of different types.
• Communicates with customers on the completion of work and verifies all information.
• Maintains and keeps track of inventory levels for the warehouse in the mobile tire truck.
• Maintains and cleans service equipment, mobile truck, and warehouse.
• Participates in job-related training and supports the safety program.
• Willingness to take on additional duties and responsibilities as asked by the Service Manager.

Requirements

• Class B CDL is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
