About the Role
Safely manipulate tire/rim assemblies on loaders, forklifts, tractors, trailers and multiple types of equipment. Identify tires which need replacement from both normal and abnormal wear and/or damage. Follow proper procedures to mount/dismount tires and install properly on equipment. Perform service calls on equipment at remote locations away from the garage.
Responsibilities
- Manipulate 200lb tire/wheel assemblies with mechanical assistance for 12-hour shifts
- Walk, stand, bend, push, and pull up to 75lbs in all types of weather
- Grasp, grip, twist, pull, bend, and stoop for 12-hour shifts
- Recognize and document equipment ID numbers, mileage readings, and signage
- Document part numbers on log sheets and work orders, track parts/tire usage
- Document and log labor hours on work orders and log sheets
Requirements
- 3 months of work history in the past 6 months
- Valid driver’s license and safety-toed footwear
- Must pass MVR check
- 18 years of age or older
- No DUI/DWI convictions within the last 12 months
