About the role

Safely manipulate tire/rim assemblies on loaders, forklifts, tractors, trailers, and multiple types of equipment. Identify tires that need replacement due to normal or abnormal wear and/or damage. Follow proper procedures to mount/dismount tires and install them correctly on equipment.

Responsibilities

• Handle 200 lb tire/wheel assemblies with mechanical assistance during 12-hour shifts
• Perform physical tasks including walking, standing, bending, pushing, and pulling up to 75 lbs in all weather conditions
• Grasp, grip, twist, pull, bend, and stoop for extended periods
• Perform service calls on equipment at remote locations away from the garage
• Recognize and document equipment ID numbers, mileage readings, and signage
• Document part numbers on log sheets and work orders, and track parts/tire usage
• Log labor hours on work orders and log sheets

Requirements

• Minimum 3 months of work history in the past 6 months
• Valid driver’s license and safety-toed footwear
• Must pass MVR check
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No DUI/DWI convictions within the last 12 months
