Tire Repair Employee

Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement of tires on mobile equipment including Haul trucks, water trucks, fuel trucks, pickups and other equipment used in and around the mine.
- Service tires, diagnose tire and wheel issues, patch, plug, and make tire replacement decisions.
- Study and check for tire and wheel issues (damage or wear, tread depth, pressure, temperature, monitor for heat bubbles, overall condition).
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, cranes, small mobile equipment, and impact guns.
- Maintain work orders, ensure a clean and safe work area, and perform work area inspections.
- Perform hot tire replacement and follow hot tire safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- One year of experience in tire repair or mechanical repair and maintenance.
- Able to read and use schematics.
- Must have completed academic and practical competencies required (Line of Progression (LOP) requirements for internal employees where LOP Exists).
- Ability to apply knowledge and skills while passing a written assessment where required.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of hot tire safety procedures.

- The estimated pay range for this role is $21.50- $28.50 per hour.
- This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
- Employees who are required to work on-site are eligible for a $1,450 monthly housing allowance, provided they meet program guidelines.

What We Require
- Candidates may be required to pass a medical exam.
- Candidates must pass all required training and/or testing.
- Employees may be required to work a non-standard schedule, which may include shift work (other than day shift) at a 24/7, 365-day operation.
Pay and Benefits
The estimated pay range for this role is currently $21.50- $28.50 hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
