Tire Mounting Technician

About the role

As a leading tire service company since 1939, Pomp's is seeking a Mounting Program Technician to play a critical role in daily operations, managing and maintaining mounted tire assemblies in a fast‑paced environment where accuracy and consistency are key.

Responsibilities

• Mount single, three, and five piece wheels/tires
• Read and understand customer drawings
• Pre‑assemble wheels and organize wheels and tires for the mounter
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor

Requirements

• Basic tire and tire‑mounting knowledge (helpful)
• Ability to use various digital tools, technologies, and programs efficiently
• Must be able to talk and hear to operate equipment and communicate with internal and external customers and co‑workers
• Regularly lift, upright, push, or move 50 lb; occasionally 100 lb
• Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull, and reach without difficulty
• Frequent kneeling, bending over, and back work
• Standing continuously throughout the shift
