Responsibilities

• Inspect and replace commercial truck and trailer tires
• Learn proper mounting and repair procedures
• Check tires for retread and reuse opportunities
• Use tablets/computers to document work and inventory
• Keep the shop clean, safe, and organized
• Work with a solid team in a fast-paced environment

Schedule

Shifts needed Wednesday‑Saturday, 6 am‑6 pm, with every other Wednesday off.

Qualifications

• Knowledge: Prior tire experience is a plus.
• Abilities: Strong work history; flexible schedule with ability to work nights and weekends.
• Experience/Education/Training: High school diploma or GED; or 1‑3 months related experience/training; or equivalent combination.
• Physical Requirements: Constant standing, handling, forward reaching; frequent walking, head turning, bending, kneeling, stooping, squatting, hand control and power gripping; able to lift 105 lb, carry 83 lb, push/pull 115 lb; steel‑toed footwear and safety glasses required.
• Working Environment: Indoor and outdoor with exposure to varying weather conditions and chemical odors.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): PRIME provides required PPE at no cost; associates must comply with OSHA‑aligned PPE policies.
• Licensing/Certification: Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Miscellaneous: Must pass a physical (APEX Physical Therapy in Springfield, Mo; general physical elsewhere) prior to hire.
