Tire and Lube Technician

About the role

This is an entry-level position with the Hertz Corporation and serves as the launching point for our maintenance team. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance with a focus on oil and tire changes.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repairs with oversight
• Conduct oil changes and tire changes
• Use shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Assortment of tools, including oil filter wrenches, socket set, and a toolbox to keep them in
• Must be a quick learner

Qualifications

• No required professional experience (entry-level position)
• Prior experience with automotive repair (personal or professional) is preferred
• Familiarity with the following tools (to be provided):
  • 3/8” and ½” impact wrench
  • Socket wrench – metric and standard – preferably long and short lengths
  • Oil filter wrenches and tools
  • TPMS tool – reset tire sensors
  • Combo wrenches
  • Screwdrivers

Pay

$15.00/hr
