About the Role
Turner Industries is a fully diversified industrial contractor providing responsive, innovative solutions to increase plant production, reduce costs, and minimize downtime in the petrochemical, refining, energy, pulp and paper, and related industries. We are seeking a Timekeeper to join our team in the Corpus Christi, TX area.
This non-exempt role reports to the site manager, site superintendent, or foreman. Duties are assigned according to specific procedures, and work is checked frequently.
Responsibilities
- Compiles employees' time and production records.
- Reviews time sheets, work charts, and time cards for completeness.
- Computes total time worked by employees and enters payroll into the computer.
- Delivers paychecks to employees.
- Completes and files job site paperwork.
- May interview employees to discuss hours worked and pay adjustments.
- May review others' work for accuracy in reading and copying numbers correctly.
- Applies basic record keeping and other procedures for concentrating on details.
- Performs additional assignments as required.
Requirements
- Knowledge of business machines, computers, and/or menu-driven applications.
- Knowledge of TRACK software (required).
- Prior experience in SAP (preferred).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Must comply with company and client job site safety requirements.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace.
- Post-offer drug/alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the Turner Drug, Alcohol, and Contraband Policy.

Pay
Final agreed-upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
