About the Podcast

Whether you’re gearing up for a long road-trip, planning an afternoon by the pool, or just taking your daily walk, summer is the perfect time to catch up on the Shawnee Mission School District (SMSD) podcast, Shawnee Mission Mic’d Up! The podcast is a great way to learn about programs, updates, and accomplishments in the SMSD. Hosted by Dr. Michael Schumacher, superintendent, and Dr. Brittany Gonser, director of professional learning, Mic’d Up showcases the staff and students who make us One Shawnee Mission. New episodes drop every other Thursday throughout the school year. New episodes will return in August.
