Tiling Instructor/Assessor Required

About the role

Able Skills, the largest private construction training provider in the South East, is seeking an experienced tiling instructor to join their team. This full-time, salaried position offers the opportunity to deliver courses at weekends with overtime pay. You will train fee-paying, self-funded adults looking to improve their skills, gain qualifications, or retrain for the construction industry.

This role provides variety, professional development, and personal growth within an established training company.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tiling courses, including City & Guilds 6219 – 08, City & Guilds 6219 – 07, and short DIY courses.
• Conduct NVQ assessments for OSAT and EWPA as part of Able Skills’ assessment centre.

Requirements

• Level 2/3 in Wall and Floor Tiling (preferred).
• Possess or willingness to work toward an Assessors Qualification (TAQA, A1, D32, D33, D34).
• Essential experience working within the tiling industry.
• Teaching experience is beneficial.
