About the role
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is hiring experienced Tile Setters for projects in the San Jose area.
Responsibilities
- Install ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, and other tile products
- Prepare surfaces including leveling, waterproofing, and layout
- Measure and cut tile for precise installation
- Mix and apply thinset, mortar, and grout
- Install floor, wall, backsplash, and shower tile
- Ensure high-quality finishes while maintaining production schedules
- Follow all jobsite safety requirements
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional tile setting experience
- Ability to read blueprints and layout tile patterns
- Experience with commercial or high-end residential projects preferred
- Must have your own basic tile setting tools
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Passing drug test
