Manufacturing Tile Setter

Job Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install tile, including grouting.
• Set up equipment at the job site using the proper set-up procedures.
• Use measurement tools to ensure proper installation and alignment.
• Prepare surface by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesives.
• Perform leveling, anchoring, and alignment.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and consistency.
• Ensure that all installations meet safety standards and company specifications.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and clean, organized workspace.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Job Skills & Qualifications

• 2 years of tile installation experience
• 1 year of grouting experience
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and layouts (preferred)
• Ability to read and use measurement tools accurately
• Experience with tile tools
• Knowledge of tile installation techniques, materials, and adhesives
• Ability to lift up to 50 - 75 lbs and perform physical work for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
