Tile Installer (Piece rate)
What You’ll Do
- Install flooring tile accurately according to project plans and company standards.
- Review job details and prepare materials and tools before starting work.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and inspect completed work before leaving the site.
- Assist in guiding apprentice installers and support their learning on the job.
- Communicate job progress or issues with the scheduling or operations team.
- Properly use and maintain company tools, and equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
Qualifications
- Experience installing flooring tile in a construction environment.
- Ability to read plan layouts & measurements.
- Ability to work efficiently on active job sites and manage time well.
- Basic knowledge of installation tools, materials, and techniques.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and carry materials and tools as needed (50 – 75 lbs.).
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
