Responsibilities
- Perform tile take-offs and accurately calculate material requirements for projects.
- Conduct layout mock-ups, present them to clients, and secure approvals.
- Install shower pans and waterproofing with high precision, ensuring 100% successful inspections.
- Level, slope, and construct plumb surfaces.
- Install and test Schluter Ditra heat mats and floor heating coils.
- Construct custom niches using basic carpentry skills.
- Work with a diverse range of materials, including but not limited to Schluter and Laticrete products.
- Interpret blueprints and architectural drawings.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Handle heavy lifting and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Execute complex tile layouts and patterns with meticulous attention to detail.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of proven, hands-on experience as a professional Tile Installer.
- Exceptional communication skills, problem-solving skills, client-centric focus, commitment to quality, eagerness to learn, professionalism, reliability, and performance-driven attitude.
- Physical ability to safely lift heavy objects.
Qualifications
- Experience with various tile sizes, from sheeted mosaics to large formats.
- Proficiency in working with different substrates such as cement, plywood, and linoleum.
- Strong proficiency in executing complex tile layouts and patterns.
- Ability to accurately interpret blueprints and architectural drawings.
- Basic carpentry skills for constructing custom niches.
- Expertise in leveling, sloping, and constructing plumb surfaces.
- Knowledge and experience with Schluter and Laticrete products.
- Experience with Schluter Ditra heat mats and floor heating coils.

- Total compensation package, including Overtime, benefits, company vehicle, and tools, provides an equivalent hourly value of over $53.00 per hour.
- Sign-On Bonus: $2,500, with $1,250 paid after the first four weeks of your employment and the remaining $1,250 after completion of 3 months.

Pay
Hourly Pay: $29.00 - $35.00
Schedule
Based in Richmond, with projects spanning across the San Francisco Bay Area. You will report to the Installation Lead.
