Tile Glaze Line Technician - A Shift

Responsibilities

• Ensures all safety protocols throughout the plant are adhered to.
• Helps to maintain a safe and healthy working environment for Glaze Line areas.
• Follows the Quality Management System, which is certified to ISO 9001 for all finishing operations.
• Performs necessary LTT audits and assists in delivering weekly safety training materials.
• Ensures product specifications are followed throughout the Glazing department.
• Reviews box samples and pre-production tests with Supervisor.
• Affords support to the Glaze Line Supervisor in coordinating the operations of glaze line operations.
• Trains new hires on safety, quality policy, management systems, and operations of all glazing equipment and product knowledge.
• Works with the maintenance team to develop and sustain operator basic care programs.
• Assists in filling-in and reliefs for all glazing job functions.
• Adjusts rotocolor, digital machines, and airless cabins to ensure production accuracy.
• Aids in color and production changes.
• Completes other tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.

Pay

• $18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience.

Schedule
