TIG Welder

About the role

The Welder I at the Oregon City, OR Site performs all position welding using drawings, specs, verbal instructions, etc. under general supervision. Key responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

• Performs welding of steel and aluminum using Tig, stick and oxy-acetylene;
• Fits up structures and weldments for work aids, tables, dies, fixtures, etc. per appropriate work instruction;
• Fabricates components to be welded;
• Operates band saw used to cut steel;
• Performs Heat Treat operations on products and documents testing results per appropriate work instruction;
• Assembles welded components.

Requirements

• High School Or Equivalent (Preferred)
• Mechanical aptitude
• Manufacturing Experience (Preferred)
• Welding/Manufacturing Trade School (Preferred)

Qualifications

• Accuracy and Attention to Detail - Working Experience

• Time management - Working Experience
