TIG Welder

About the role

Tetra Pak Processing Equipment is seeking a 1st shift Welder to join their team. This position is based in Winsted, MN, USA.

Responsibilities

• Engage in welding and fabrication of stainless-steel equipment for various customers.
• Operational knowledge of manufacturing and welding of stainless-steel materials (Sheet and Pipe) using TIG and MIG.
• Profound knowledge of operating general metal shop equipment and tools.
• Process checks in accordance with quality requirements.
• Participate in daily improvement activities.
• Participate in multi-skill training.
• Engage in WCM (World Class Manufacturing)/5'S activities and reach certain levels as requested.

Requirements

• Technical School Diploma or equivalent in welding/fabrication.
• Previous experience in mechanical related industries.
• The ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, recognize welding symbols, and adhere to drawing specifications.
• The ability to perform physical tasks including repetitive motions, standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 50-70 pounds.
• The ability to operate a forklift and use lifting devices.

• Strong technical skills in welding and fabrication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

• Welding proficiency (TIG and MIG).

Pay

Tetra Pak provides a salary range of $49,100.00 – 70,000.00 annually, with eligibility for a performance-based short-term incentive (variable pay) of up to 10%. Benefits include a comprehensive package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, and paid parental leave.
