Remote opportunity for a Senior Front-End Engineer to join our distributed product team.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced front-end engineer to help us build delightful, accessible user interfaces for our SaaS platform. You’ll collaborate with designers, product managers, and back-end engineers to ship features that millions of users rely on daily. This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates in the US or Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Write clean, maintainable, and performant React code for our core web application.
  • Implement responsive, pixel-perfect UIs from Figma designs while advocating for accessibility best practices (WCAG 2.1 AA).
  • Optimize application performance—reduce bundle size, improve render times, and monitor Core Web Vitals.
  • Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to architectural decisions.
  • Debug complex issues across the stack using browser dev tools, logging, and monitoring systems.
  • Advocate for front-end best practices and help define coding standards for the team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional front-end development experience with React and TypeScript.
  • Strong portfolio or GitHub profile demonstrating expertise in modern front-end tooling (e.g., Next.js, Redux, Webpack, Jest).
  • Deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS (including preprocessors like Sass), and HTML5.
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., React Testing Library, Cypress) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with back-end technologies (Node.js, RESTful APIs, GraphQL) to collaborate effectively with full-stack teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a remote, async-first environment.

Benefits

  • 100% remote work with flexible hours and unlimited PTO (minimum 20 days/year).
  • Comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision) with 90% premium coverage for employees and dependents.
  • 401(k) matching up to 4% of salary.
  • $2,000 annual stipend for home office setup or professional development.
  • Annual company retreat (location varies) with covered travel and accommodations.
  • Parental leave: 16 weeks fully paid for all new parents.

Pay

$140,000–$170,000 base salary (commensurate with experience) + equity (0.05–0.1% of company).

Schedule

  • Core hours: 10 AM–3 PM ET for team overlap, otherwise flexible.
  • Async communication preferred; occasional synchronous meetings (max 10 hours/week).
