TIG Welder & Fabrication Technician

About the Role

Qualdoc is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist for a contract position in Hanover, PA. This is an on-site role requiring precision manufacturing expertise.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and grinders
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
• Perform precise measurements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Maintain tight tolerances and quality standards
• Inspect finished parts for conformance to specifications
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized

Requirements

• Proven experience as a manual machinist in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Trade school or apprenticeship in machining preferred
• Minimum 3–5 years of manual machining experience
