Tie Dock

Responsibilities

• Tie Dock position is responsible for monitoring cants.
• Identify boards needing to be returned to the edger.
• Monitor lumber flow to the trimmer and edger.
• Keep work areas safe and clean.
• May perform other duties as required.

  Requirements

  • Must be safety conscious, have a positive attitude, and work well in a team environment.
  • Must have and maintain an excellent attendance record.
  • Work at a fast pace and be a detail-oriented team player.
  • Pre-employment drug screen required.
  • Candidates must be able to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis.
  • Always required to wear personal protective equipment.
  • Cross-training in other production-related jobs.
  • Job rotation is required to grow your skills in other areas.
  • An all-around positive work attitude, at all times.

  Qualifications

  Additional qualifications may include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a warehouse or similar setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of lumber handling and processing techniques.
