About the Role
The Ticket Seller position is primarily responsible for assisting patrons related to ticket sales, will call, digital ticketing, parking, and customer service. This position handles a high volume of cash and credit transactions in a responsible manner.
Pay: $15.50 per hour

The Bank of Oklahoma Center, also known as the BOK Center, is located downtown and serves as the premier sports and entertainment venue of the greater Tulsa region. Offering a 19,199-seat multi-purpose arena and 565,000 total square feet, it is designed to accommodate concerts, family shows, and other special events. The BOK Center has been named one of the country's best venues on multiple occasions.
Responsibilities
- Open and/or close ticket window as required.
- Know basic operations of the ticketing system.
- Courteously answer questions concerning prices, seating, and events.
- Understand seating charts and configurations of each venue.
- Perform transactions for all events on the ticketing system with efficiency and accuracy.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately in accordance with company policies.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by responding to customer needs.
- Work independently and handle most box office questions without assistance.
- Know, understand, and inform customers of the refund/exchange policy.
- Keep an accurate daily balance sheet of cash received and tickets sold; balance sales and change in the bank and submit cash to the supervisor for audit.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (or any equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Prior customer service experience is preferred.
- Must be able to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, dependent on the event schedule.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be comfortable multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to count money and make change accurately.
- Ability to input data into a computer to record sales transactions.
- Basic computer skills in typing and data entry with Microsoft Office products and internet platforms.
