THRIVE School-Based Therapist

About the role

Thrive is seeking a School-Based Therapist to provide therapeutic support in local schools. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students as needed
• Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement intervention plans
• Assess student needs and progress towards goals
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
• Current license to practice as a therapist in your state
• Experience working with children and adolescents
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• Passing score on the Praxis exam (if required by your state)
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
• Experience with evidence-based interventions

Skills

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
