About the role
Thriving Student Support/Behavior Interventionist is responsible for providing academic and behavioral support to students in a school setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans for students
- Provide direct support to students in academic and behavioral areas
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement interventions
- Assess student progress and adjust strategies as necessary
- Document all interactions and interventions in student files
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Experience working with children in a school setting
- Knowledge of behavior intervention techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Current certification in special education or equivalent
- Experience with data collection and analysis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
