THRIVE Student Support/Behavior Interventionist

About the role

Thriving Student Support/Behavior Interventionist is responsible for providing academic and behavioral support to students in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized educational plans for students
• Provide direct support to students in academic and behavioral areas
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement interventions
• Assess student progress and adjust strategies as necessary
• Document all interactions and interventions in student files

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field
• Experience working with children in a school setting
• Knowledge of behavior intervention techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Current certification in special education or equivalent
• Experience with data collection and analysis
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
