General Summary
Truck Driver picks up donations at donors' locations, and delivers purchases to customers. The TD also helps process drop-off donations, helps load customer vehicles, and provides top-class customer service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Using agency truck, picks up thrift donations and delivers customer purchases
- Maintains professional and helpful rapport with customers and donors
- Safely transports, loads and unloads all materials
- Maintains any required records, reports or logs related to the driving or use of the truck
- Maintains and cleans truck, as needed
- Affords assistance to Thrift store customer service and support as needed
- Affords assistance with furniture cleaning and repair as needed
- Maintains an inclusive and positive work environment for people of all abilities
- Attends all staff meetings, trainings and development activities, as required
- Serves as mandated reporter for suspected cases of abuse and/or neglect to the Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC)
Other Duties And Responsibilities
- May assist other agency businesses with delivery, pickup, or customer service
- Performs additional duties, as assigned

Preparation, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year prior experience driving a delivery vehicle, preferably a box truck.
- Willingness to work outside in inclement weather.
- Valid driver’s license in the state of Massachusetts.
