Thoracic Surgery

Role: A board-certified Thoracic Surgeon is sought to provide comprehensive thoracic surgical care, collaborate across specialties, and utilize advanced robotic platforms, including single-port technology. Responsibilities: Maintain a broad practice covering thoracic oncology, benign thoracic disease, lung resections, esophageal surgery, complex procedures, and chest wall reconstruction. Teach residents and thoracic fellows, participate in scholarly activities, research, and develop a clinical or academic niche. Support the growth of the division by expanding referrals, strengthening programs, and pursuing leadership opportunities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Gastroenterology, Trauma, and Cardiac Surgery. Qualifications & Skills: Board certification in thoracic surgery, strong collaborative and teaching abilities, and experience with robotic surgical platforms are preferred. The role requires a commitment to scholarly activity, research, and program expansion. Key Duties: Build and expand an academic thoracic surgery division, perform a variety of thoracic procedures, teach trainees, engage in research, develop referral networks, and support division growth and leadership development.
