Responsibilities
- Contribute to program growth, multidisciplinary clinical leadership, and the academic development of a high-volume cancer program
- Leadership opportunities are available for mid-career applicants
- This faculty position includes the broad practice of general thoracic surgery and thoracic surgical oncology, including all aspects of esophageal disease, both benign and malignant, lung, chest wall and mediastinum
- Candidates should have substantial experience in minimally invasive approaches to surgery, including robotic surgery
- Strong commitment to multidisciplinary cancer care, clinical outcomes, research and education are desired
Requirements
- Completed an ACGME-accredited thoracic surgery training program
- Board-certified or board-eligible through the American Board of Thoracic Surgery
- Hold, or be eligible to obtain, an unrestricted Florida medical license
Qualifications
- Qualified applicants must have substantial experience in minimally invasive approaches to surgery, including robotic surgery
- Strong commitment to multidisciplinary cancer care, clinical outcomes, research and education are desired
