Responsibilities
- Taste-check all mise en place to ensure quality of food.
- Set up live fire grill station as specified in a timely manner.
- Take ownership of live fire station, actively fix problems, and ensure no spills or messes left behind.
- Maintain personal prep lists and manage daily activities without active oversight.
- Work service with attention to detail, cleanliness, and promptness.
- Clean live fire grill station thoroughly at the end of shift.
- Communicate prep and ordering needs to management in a timely manner.
- Assist in training new colleagues on live fire grill station and menu items.
- Provide input on menu changes and offer feedback on menu item execution.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and cleaning of all floor drains.
Requirements
- Refined verbal communication skills.
- 2 years of previous line experience preferred.
- Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred.
- Able to perform all basic cooking skills.
- Able to work single station in the kitchen.
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to work weekends and holidays.
