Third-Party Risk Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and assess risks related to technology, privacy security, resiliency, and other operational areas.
  • Evaluate and analyze supplier controls, identifying and documenting risk findings.
  • Recommend action plans and remediation strategies to mitigate risk factors.
  • Gather confidential financial information such as income, assets, and debts.
  • Handle private, sensitive, and confidential information appropriately.
  • Make risk-avoiding adjustments to current methods of operation to minimize future risks.
  • Conduct thorough research using the internet and first-person interviews.
  • Communicate escalations to management as needed.
  • Audit and evaluate third-party vendor risk management.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of organizational goals and values.

Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of risk management with prior experience as a risk assistant or risk analyst.
  • Knowledge of SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type II reports and third-party vendor risk management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, data entry, and MS Office applications.
  • Preferred certifications: CIA, CRISC, CISA, CISM.
  • Background in supply chain, compliance risk management, or audit is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Process Unity is preferred.

Pay Range

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
