About the role

Holy Cross Regional School is seeking a full-time, permanent third grade teacher.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum aligned with state standards
• Provide instruction in reading, writing, mathematics, science, social studies, and other subjects
• Engage students in hands-on learning activities and projects
• Mentor and support student growth and development
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Participate in professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field
• PA Teaching Certification in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education
• Experience working with children in a classroom setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents

Qualifications

• Pass a background check
• Pass a criminal history check
• Pass a drug screening

Skills

• Effective classroom management skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in using technology in the classroom
